I have a gallon of your 30% hydrogen peroxide . I understand that this hydrogen peroxide is 30% by volume . My question is if a certain application calls for 30% by weight hydrogen peroxide , what percentage by volume would 30% by weight work out to ? In other words if I want 30% by weight hydrogen peroxide , what percentage by volume would this work out to be ?
The specific gravity of Hydrogen Peroxide 30% is about 1.12.
On calculation, 30% Hydrogen peroxide by volume = 33.5% Hydrogen peroxide by weight.
Using, C1M1 = C2M2, to make 1 L of 30% Hydrogen Peroxide by weight, you have to add 116.6 grams of DI water to your 30% Hydrogen peroxide by Volume.
For 1 gal, add 441.5 grams of DI water in 1 gal of 30% hydrogen peroxide by volume. -
