I own a detailing company in Michigan. I’ve been using a toilet cleaner with hydrochloric acid about 11.4%. I was hoping to get your opinion on whether the hydrochloric acid or muriatic acid would be a better solution to remove calcified algae from the aluminum on pontoon boat? Ive been looking to mainly get this product in bulk however just wanted to know which one is better than the other for this application. Or if there’s another chemical out there that would do better.
If it is a calciefied algae, Hydrochloric Acid should work because HCl reacts with Calcium.
