About Aluminum Trihydrate, Lab Grade

Aluminum Trihydrate sometimes called Hydrate Alumina, Alumina Hydrate, ATH, Aluminum Hydrate, alane, or alumane is a chemical compound having the formula AlH 3 . The surface of the AlH 3 may be coated with a thin layer of Aluminum Oxide and/or Hydroxide, depending on the synthesis scheme. In organic synthesis, this product is employed as a reducing agent.
