About Ammonium Bifluoride, Lab Grade
Ammonium Bifluoride, also known as Ammonium Hydrogen Fluoride, is an inorganic compound with the formula NH4HF2 or NH4F·HF. It is made by the reaction of Ammonia and Hydrogen Fluoride. It appears as a colorless solid at room temperature. It is utilized as an acidifier for oil wells, as well as, for etching glass and cleaning bricks/ceramics.
