I'm confused why the SDS says harmful if swallowed but the product title says Suitable For Food Applications. I want to ask if this product is edible for humans?
The product caffeine is a high purity product with purity >99%. It can be harmful if swallowed in the amount that exceeds LD50. As a general warning it is obligatory to mention the hazard statement in the SDS to prevent harms due to undirected consumption or accidental ingestion.
It is completely safe for consumption under the specified dose as per FDA (<200 ppm).
