Citric Acid, chemically known as 2-Hydroxypropane-1,2,3-tricarboxylic Acid, has the chemical formula C6H8O7 or CH2COOH-C(OH)COOH-CH2COOH. Citric Acid, 10% Solution appears as a colorless clear liquid with an acidic taste. It possesses no odor and is very soluble in Water, Ethanol at ambient conditions.
