What is the composition of the bottle? PFTE, LDPE, HDPE, ?? What is the Recyclability of the container? What is the solubility of the container in Ethanol? How much contaminant will I find over time?
This product is shipped in a HDPE bottle.
The HDPE bottle is recyclable #2 HDPE.
HDPE is insoluble in ethanol because HDPE is strong non-polar polymer and ethanol is polar solvent. Hence, no contaminants can be expected when stored at proper storage conditions.
