About Formaldehyde 37% Lab Grade

Formaldehyde 37% is a solution of formaldehyde gas dissolved in water, commonly known as formalin. It's a clear, colorless liquid with a pungent odor. This solution is used in various industrial applications, including as a disinfectant, preservative, and in the production of various chemicals and materials such as plastics, textiles, and adhesives. In laboratory settings, formaldehyde solutions are also used as a fixative for preserving biological specimens.

Our Formaldehyde is stabilized with methanol and is certified as a lab-grade chemical due to the presence of unknown impurities. Lab grade chemicals possess reasonable purity but do not comply with any official standard for quality or purity.
