About Sodium Bicarbonate 8.4% Sterile Solution

Sodium Bicarbonate, also known as Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate, Carbonic Acid Monosodium Salt, Bicarbonate of Soda, and Baking Soda, has the chemical formula NaHCO₃ or CHNaO₃. Its solution appears colorless clear liquid having free solubility in Water and Methanol at ambient conditions. In solution form, Sodium Bicarbonate dissociates into Sodium and Bicarbonate ions. In the human body, its presence can raise blood pH through buffering of excess hydrogen ions.
