About Acetic Acid, Technical Grade, 50% Solution

Acetic Acid, also known as Ethanoic Acid, Ethylic Acid, Methanecarboxylic Acid, has the chemical formula C2H4O2 or CH3COOH. Acetic Acid, 50% Solution appears as a clear, colorless solution with a vinegar odor. It is freely soluble in Water at ambient conditions. Lab Alley’s Acetic Acid, 50% Solution, Technical Grade contains 49.6% by volume of pure Acetic Acid dissolved in 50.4% by volume of purified Water. Unless a high purity grade (>90%) is needed, Technical Grade chemicals are of sufficient quality for industrial applications.

Technical Grade chemicals are mainly utilized in large-scale commercial manufacturing where impurity levels do not need to be tracked or managed. Due to its high purity Acetic Acid, 50% Solution, Technical Grade is highly recommended for labs and commercial applications.
